Sophie Biro Sophie Biro CEO Sophie is a strategist specialising in the Blue Economy, with over 25 years of experience in investment banking across London, Hong Kong, and Paris. She is the founder and CEO of Adelwise, and serves on the advisory boards of the UN Global Compact Ocean Investment Protocol, the French Coastal Agency, and various financial institutions. Sophie has held top-ranking roles in equity and quantitative strategy at Credit Suisse, ING Barings, and Société Générale, and later led ESG-focused digital transformation projects at BNP Paribas. She holds an MSc in Computing Science from Imperial College London, a CFA ESG certification, and completed Cambridge’s sustainable finance course. Personally committed to marine conservation, she founded SeaGeneration, an NGO supporting environmental protection in Boracay, Philippines.
